With 20 years in the hospitality industry and even more time than that spent working together side-by-side, owners Michael and Ben have become a team of restauranteurs to be reckoned with. Journeying from Italy, where they opened an independent restaurant, this passionate duo have joined together to form their London restaurant, Capri.
Combining the freshest ingredients, a kitchen team with impressive culinary skills and owners who have knowledge of all things Italian, Capri serves up a selection of pasta dishes, fresh meats, fabulous fish, and lots, lots more, all prepared under the watchful eye and careful precision of Head Chef Antonio. In true Italian style, why not treat yourself to a four-course menu? Starters include both hearty salads packed with fresh ingredients and more indulgent options like deep fried king prawns with spicy mayo and arancini balls with amatriciana sauce. Next up, the pasta course spans traditional favourites like spaghetti alla puttanesca and tagliatelle Bolognese we well as house specials like the potato gnocchi with swordfish and aubergine. Mains bring grilled seafood and high-end meat plates like a 32-day dry aged beef fillet served with rocket leaves, Datterino tomatoes and Parmesan shavings. Finish things off with sweets such as a brioche ice cream sandwich, a panna cotta or a baba al limoncello.
