Caffe Concerto, based on the lively Kings Road in Chelsea, is an elegant Italian chain in the heart of one of London's most iconic neighbourhoods. Stepping into the restaurant, you'll feel like you’ve been transported to a cosy restaurant in Italy, filled with warm hues, golden accents and plenty of old art on the walls.
The menu at Caffe Concerto features a new innovative menu from Tuscany, marrying innovation with tradition. Begin your day with a brunch style meal at Caffe Concerto with an all day energiser dish of toasted bread - where one half is topped with beetroot hummus, avocado and marinated cherry tomatoes, and the other with peanut butter, bananas and golden syrup. The tartine selection can either serve one or two, and is served with French fries and aioli sauce.
For later in the day, starters include wild mushroom arancini and fried calamari, with the main menu including a fritto misto platter, an antipasti board, and plenty of pasta dishes. If you're not sure which pasta dish to choose from, why not order the cichetti tower, where you can enjoy one seafood, one meat and one vegetarian pasta, risotto and gnocchi dishes.
There's an extensive plant-based vegan menu, a good amount of salads, burgers and meat and fish dishes, too. The real star of the show, however, are the cakes and pastries. The Caffe Concerto afternoon tea comes with a selection of finger sandwiches and brioche rolls, along with freshly baked scones, Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam, and an assortment of mini cakes. If you fancy a bigger slice of cake, there is a great selection of gateaux and patisserie, including the Ferrero nocciola cake, black forest chocolate sponge, decadent mille feuille, light honey cake, and plenty of fruit filled tarts.
