Located on London’s Kennington Road only a short walk from the Imperial War Museum, Café Ishak is a fine Indian restaurant with high levels of service. The marble and gold exterior of the dining room promises something seriously posh and the interior of Café Ishak doesn’t disappoint, decorated and furnished to create and upmarket look and feel partnered by the service from informed, well turned out waiters. As well as favourite Indian dishes, Café Ishak offers guests more unusual dishes taken from authentic home cooking recipes, among them a number of duck dishes and exotic seafood dishes from the coastal regions of the subcontinent. It takes a lot to stand out amongst South London’s endless rows of Indian restaurants, but the owners of Café Ishak, with its team of skilled kitchen staff and an efficient and friendly front of house have managed to make their restaurant something of a must visit.
