Trattoria Gia, as it was known then, based in the Merchant City & ran by husband & wife team Daniele & Theresa Giannoni, became a firm favourite for many people from the East End of Glasgow & beyond. Often welcoming visitors from all over the world the family-run restaurant became a firm favourite for many.
In 2019 came a move to the East End and a slight name change to Gia’s bringing us closer to our customers, many of whom have become good friends of Gia’s over the years. Our passion for what we do is the same as it was when Trattoria Gia was opened many years ago.
