About

From Paris with love arrives Café Lapérouse; the first-ever international venture of this iconic French institution, tucked away in the spectacular courtyard of the OWO. Laperouse traces its roots all the way back to 1766 - it's a hidden Parisian gem just waiting to be uncovered, offering an authentic taste of the city's charm.

The OWO in Whitehall is currently under a complete renovation and the Grade II listed building will soon open as the new site of Raffles London hotel. This exciting development will comprise 120 rooms, 85 private residences, and most notably nine restaurants and three bars will also feature. Completing the existing lineup will be Café Lapérouse, the first international opening from the quintessentially Parisian eatery. It will be situated in the stunning courtyard within the OWO and be able to seat 80 diners in the indoor pavilion, designed by art director Cordelia de Castellane, renowned for her stylish work with Maison Dior.

Inspired by the French explorer Jean-Francois de La Perouse, the restaurant has had resounding success at its flagship location at the iconic Hotel del la Marine in central Paris which opened in 2021. Open 8:30am to midnight seven days a week, it is notoriously busy with tourists and markedly prestigious clientele.

Café Lapérouse is part of the Moma group which boasts an impressive portfolio of venues across France including some internationally. Founder and CEO of Moma Benjamin Patou has expressed his delight at bringing a taste of French luxury to London and promises to offer a ‘truly indulgent and different experience, offering a theatre of showstopping signature dishes served in stunning, opulent surrounds’.

Guests can benefit from the all-day dining on offer and enjoy a luxurious traditional breakfast or opt for a exquisite dinner. The menu is yet to be released but if it’s anything like the Parisian branches, we are in for a treat. Expect French delicacies like snails dripping in parsley butter, duck fois gras with Sauternes jelly and the signature beef tartare. For dessert indulge in the intricate patisserie or share a creme brulee.
