You don’t need to travel far from Leeds to find a taste of Asia, in fact you only need to go as far as Whitkirk’s Brown Cow and Dragon pub and restaurant. Anybody familiar with the area will
recognise the Brown Cow and Dragon as a traditional local pub complete with a bar serving favourite ales, beers and spirits. However, step inside and you’ll find a surprising flavour of the East.
Sumptuous and romantic, the Brown Cow and Dragon’s dining room is inspired by the most luxurious of Asian resorts with deep, dark colour scheme, tactile fabric covered banquettes and talking point
art and artefacts straight from Thailand. The décor is of course very much in keeping with the menu of the Brown Cow and Dragon, which is mainly Thai with a splash of Malaysian and Indonesian too.
The traditionalists among you will be pleased to hear that British dining hasn’t been neglected though, the Brown Cow and Dragon’s bar menu has a very good collection of pub grub classics too.
