Found on Manchester’s Princess Street, Bouzouki by Night is a traditional and lively Greek restaurant that is best known for offering dinner-and-dancing options aplenty. The restaurant’s dining room is kitted out to look like a traditional Greek taverna, featuring chequered tablecloths and colourful murals on the walls.
The restaurant opens from midweek, but really comes alive on Fridays and Saturdays for its weekly party nights, where guests can feast on a Mezze Banquet while enjoying a stream of live music and entertainment throughout their meal. There is even the option to get involved with some traditional Greek dancing, while after dinner you are free to disco to the resident band's live Greek music until 2am. Bouzouki's banquet menu is well suited to either small tables or large groups and the venue is a popular choice for diners celebrating birthdays, stag or hen dos, wedding anniversaries and even divorces.
Whatever the joyous occasion may be, it will be hard not to be seduced by Bouzouki by Night’s tempting mix of authentic Greek dishes, live entertainment and all round good vibes. The Mezze Banquet menu is made up of a whole host of classic Greek dishes which are served family-style in the centre of the table, so that guests can dig in and try a bit of everything. Menus evolve with the seasons, but you might come across the likes of calamari, Spanakopita (spinach pies), Greek salad, chicken kebabs and meatballs in a tomato sauce. For a small supplement, you can round off your meal with a helping of baklava and ice cream.
Don’t miss Bouzouki by Night’s drinks list either, where you’ll find a wide selection of dry, fruity Greek wines alongside spirits, beers, shots and soft drinks. A big fat Greek good time is guaranteed to be had by all.
