Bindas Eatery is the debut from founder Mehak Kansal. Mehak was awarded the 2018 Westfield Food Entrepreneur Award which saw her scoop the prize of mentorship from renowned Spanish chef Omar Allibhoy of Tapas Revolution, and a pop-up eatery at the flagship site in Shepherd’s Bush, which was a sell-out success.
She won the judges over by making her signature Butter chicken Bomb Burger made with a marinated & spiced chicken thigh, melted emmental cheese smothered in a secret makhani sauce. The pop-up at Westfield White City was held in February 2019 for 2 weeks. The word Bindas, literally translated means ‘to be without limitations and inhibitions’, this best describes Mehak.
