Located on Liverpool's Bold Street, Bam Boo is a favourite spot serving bottomless brunch, lunch, cocktails and roasts throughout the week.
The Bam Boo brunch menu includes all the classic mid morning dishes, from shakshuka to pancakes and French toast. There’s even a section on the menu entirely dedicated to benedict bagels, including the pulled lamb benny with sumac infused hollandaise, pulled meat, toasted pine nuts and poached eggs.
For a heartier start to your day, opt for a full English or a pescatarian version with hot oak smoked salmon, your choice of fried egg or scrambled tofu, wilted spinach, asparagus, cherry vine tomatoes, field mushroom, a hash brown, beans, smashed avocado and toasted semola bread. And if you’re in the mood for something a bit more lunch-like, there’s a 3oz fillet steak with diced potato, peppers, roasted chickpeas and crumbled feta.
For those who prefer brunch dishes on the sweeter side, fluffy souffle pancake stacks are a big hit. The Nutella, strawberry and Oreo is a favourite, along with the Kinder Bueno with white and milk chocolate bars, Kinder cards and Kinder Bueno sauce, served with fruit and vanilla ice cream. If you want a mix of sweet and savoury, try the pancakes with streaky bacon, fried egg and a maple syrup shot.
Served from 12pm, the Bam Boo lunch menu includes a kimchi chicken thigh burger with lemon aioli, shoestring onions, kimchi slaw and a side of skin on stealth fries. Elsewhere, cauli tacos are paired with pickled red cabbage, cashew cream, guacamole, jalapenos, pineapple salsa and chipotle, and the short rib version is a meat eater's dream, drizzled with a honey and ginger glaze. Bam Boo also specialises in thick brioche French toast, offering variants on the classic like Biscoff mascarpone with plenty of Biscoff sauce and biscuits.
