Situated in the heart of Leith, Edinburgh's lively port district, ASKR offers customers an intimate dining experience, with only 26 seats. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, offering a tasting menu alongside an a la carte option. At the chef's counter, you can experience the gastronomic magic of Ashmore's menu unfold in front of your eyes.
For their signature tasting menu, which features 10 dishes, it will cost you £105, with an additional £75 for a wine pairing. For a lighter option, ASKR offers a £35 set lunch menu of 3 courses.
At the heart of the restaurant is the kitchens fire pit-style barbeque, which is used for almost every dish on the menu. Chef Ashmore utilises different woods and coals to create a unique flavour profile in each menu item, bringing a rich intensity to all of his ingredients.
