Flowers adorn almost every surface, & chandeliers are lit in the evenings at this wonderfully romantic spot: just two of the reasons why Annie’s regulars love it. The restaurant has plenty of
years’ experience & knows exactly how to operate. It is more predictable than sister-establishments Annie’s in Chiswick & Rock & Rose in Richmond, but kooky nonetheless. The kitchen
relies on producing posh versions of home cooking. Fish pie with cheesy mash is an all-time favourite, as is roast chicken with harissa & truffled chips. Standard burgers, steaks & fish
& chips pad out the menu. The wine list contains a generous selection of by-the-glass choices, but rosés & Prosecco seem to be the choice of summertime drinking here, fitting with the
feminine aura of the setting.
