The Vincent is an all-day affair just minutes from Hackney Downs station, serving breakfast, brunch, and a variety of burgers, veggie and vegan dishes. This is where passion for food, and appreciation of warm and welcoming dining come together. Brought to London from the team behind The Sebright Arms, The Vincent's menu is a celebration of global food and flavours, reimagining authentic recipes with modern twists and exciting alterations.
It’s a modern cafe, with similarly modern charm. Glass walls and giant bespoke planters create a warm but sleek ambience, complemented by light wood tables, woven lampshades, and charcoal tiles. Plus, there’s an outside terrace ideal for a coffee or cocktail in the sunshine. After dark, the restaurant takes on a more moody character with soft lighting and a relaxed soundtrack perfect for a casual dinner or intimate catch-up.
The menu includes an all-day offering of breakfast, lunch, and brunch dishes all of which make use of locally sourced produce where possible. Catering to all breakfast buffs, options span full English fare, vegan and vegetarian variations, egg dishes, and Mediterranean-inspired dishes such as a halloumi hash, Turkish eggs, and shakshuka. If you prefer American-style breakfasts, you could go for a New York stack of pancakes topped with scrambled egg and streaky bacon, berries and cream, or Nutella with banana and strawberries.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but it's not the only offering at The Vincent. You can opt for a ‘Wrap the Vincent’ filled with grilled halloumi, roasted red peppers, avocado and beetroot hummus. The burgers are a great option for a quick lunch. Expect plant-based patties, grilled halloumi, and classic smash burgers with all the trimmings up for grabs. As you’d expect from the team behind The Sebright, there are some great beers too.
