Set in the Edwardian Old Westminster Fire Station, Yaatra produces exquisite Indian cuisine showcasing the variety of dishes found across the country. Built in 1906, the building boasts a red brick façade, while the elegant interiors offer various private dining rooms, each one distinctly decorated and suited to a range of occasions. Head Chef Amit Bagyal has curated several event menus, taking the authentic flavours of India you know and love, and refining them with a modern twist, so you can be sure a private meal at Yaatra will go down a treat.
There are several spaces available for hire at Yaatra, catering to an impressive range of group sizes and styles. For a smaller and more intimate affair, the Watch Room, one of the only standing watch rooms left, is a gorgeous room featuring a fireplace, white tiled walls and soft lighting, and can seat eight guests. Parties between 12 and 20 might opt for the State Room, and enjoy soaking in the unique décor that seamlessly combines Victorian-era British and Indian styles. This room benefits from its very own cocktail list, wine list and menus, for a truly exclusive space. For larger groups, the Yaatra Sapphire and Ruby restaurant can accommodate 70 and 60 guests respectively, perfect for a grand celebration or an impressive corporate meal.
Choose from a selection of menus curated specifically for private dining. There is a set menu option for the budget conscious that highlights Yaatra’s signature dishes, and a three-course menu allowing guests to have more choice. For special occasions, indulge in the eight-course tasting menu, taking you on a culinary journey through India's many regions. For a little extra, you can include premium and deluxe wine pairings for all courses. All menus have separate vegetarian versions, so this is an excellent choice if your party includes many dietary requirements. However, if none of this takes your fancy, the team at Yaatra are more than happy to curate your own bespoke menu.
