Bright, stylish, comfortable and unique are four words that sum up the private dining room at SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden perfectly and are all important when it comes to entertaining or meeting to discuss important business. Situated in the South Pavilion – one of the oldest parts of the original market building – this intimate space also comes with its own private balcony overlooking the piazza below for that extra bit of wow factor.
Thanks to its flexible layout and features, the room is equally suited to business and pleasure, so whether it’s a presentation to the board, a retirement lunch, or a special occasion dinner, you can be sure of the right configuration and ambiance to suit your event. Reversible Japanese screens can be displayed with the faceted mirrored side showing, or with the traditional Japanese pastoral scenes on view, according to your preference, and the room comes equipped with a dedicated AV system and plasma screen for meetings. In the room’s centre is the beautiful circular dining table that seats up to 15 on plush blue velvet chairs beneath the chainmail lighting.
Available to hire for breakfast, lunch, dinner and functions, this beautiful room is made more attractive still by excellent food and drink. With menus which fuse the best of three countries – Japan, Brazil and Peru – your guests can expect everything from Japanese tempura and sushi, to Brazilian churrasco and moqueca, and Peruvian anticuchos and ceviches. Small plates encourage sharing, which is ideal for private parties and guests or delegates at seated meetings and events, while the creative selection of canapes is perfect for guests during standing receptions and parties.
Drinks-wise, SUSHISAMBA Covent Garden offers an expansive list of signature cocktails along with native spirits such as shochu, pisco and cachaça, plus wines, Champagne and one of the largest premium sakes selections in the world.
