Only a short walk from King's Cross St Pancras, Rotunda has a perfect location in regards to transport links as well as in its picturesque location on the waterside of Regent's Canal. The restaurant's contemporary interiors including the likes of floor-to-ceiling windows, marble counters and gold accents make for a stylish but comfortable atmosphere that is great for any occassion.
Serving a modern style-British menu, the restaurant has an open kitchen and chef's counter as well as a feature meat ageing cabinet that theatrically showcases the ageing and preparation of the sustainably-sourced, British meat. All of the lamb and beef is from the Corneyside Farm in Northumberland where the animals are hand reared and allowed to roam across acres of land. This dedication to fresh, local produce is highlighted in a menu of delicate meat courses.
For private dining, you'll have the option of a three course sharing menu, served in the centre of the tables so that guests can help themselves. This is a great opportunity to maximise the intimacy of your private dining experience as there is a fuss free service, although best suited to informal dinners due to the family-style serving. Other menu options include three different sit-down dining menus as well as menus for standing receptions. Rotunda also caters for meetings with either working breakfast, working lunch or all day packages.
Rotunda's private dining room is bright and modern and also has access to a terrace area that can be combined with the room to host a party of up to 60 guests. The waterside terrace provides a relaxing setting for a summer party with the option of hosting a BBQ in the warmer seasons. For winter, the party still goes on, with heaters, blankets and mulled wine on offer to keep the cold at bay.
