Why you should go to Nobu Shoreditch this summer
With the heatwave showing no sign of stopping, why not treat your colleagues, favourite clients or business associates to an alfresco evening in the City?

Nobu hotel in Shoreditch has a four-level terrace (each level features a private dining option) and the chefs have just introduced some new summer dishes. The main bar will also be showing all the sports and there’s a Kampai happy hour (with spanking new cocktails on offer) worth being aware of.

Nobu knows food, so we’re excited to try the new menu. We’re mostly intrigued by the Nobu Tacos, which merges the hotel’s Japanese and Peruvian influences, and the barbeque Kushiyaki skewers. For lunch, we would go for the butter lettuce salad with gnocchi and truffle – yum.

Tipple-wise, we dare you to try out the lychee and elderflower martini or the Oni Negroni, a Japanese take on the classic Italian drink.

Are there whiskey-lovers among you? Take them to the Wagyu Whisky Wednesdays at Nobu for some guaranteed fun. A live DJ will be spinning the tunes while you sip on bespoke whiskey cocktails and munch on Japanese Wagyu dishes.
