Everyone has been eagerly talking about Tom Kerridge’s first London restaurant launch, set to open at the Corinthia Hotel. Well, the wait is over, as the opening date has been announced, and it’s a mere weeks away.

The much-anticipated Kerridge’s Bar & Grill, which will feature a chef’s table-styled private dining room, will welcome its first guests on 10 September. Bookings are already open, though, but we would hurry up if you want to visit, as we have a feeling seats will sell out fast.

The wood-panelled 18-seater PDR will offer exclusive dining experiences where guests can watch the chefs cooking away. Kerridge will be joined by head chef Nick Beardshaw (also head chef at Kerridge’s The Coach at Marlow) to deliver a classic British menu, cooked using traditional techniques. With a reputation of doing his own reinterpretations of the UK’s most celebrated dishes, we’re intrigued to see what Kerridge and his team will serve up.

The fresh Cornish crab vol-au-vent with avocado, green apple and crab bisque has already caught our attention, as well as the glazed omelette ‘lobster thermidor’, and the brown butter tart with buttermilk ice cream. We’re hoping to see Kerridge’s Michelin calibre reflected in these dishes.

Designed by London-based interior designers David Collins Studio, the restaurant is situated in the grand, high-ceilinged Corinthia. Renowned for their work with Marco Pierre White, we’re excited to see what magic David Collins Studio has brought to the much-loved hotel restaurant.
