Pop-up maestro Jimmy Garcia will launch The Lodge on the River on 10 November just in front of the South Bank Centre and overlooking the Thames.
The venue is set to include a riverside bar, a communal-style restaurant, and four private dining ‘snow globes’ for 10 guests each until 31 December. We love the idea of hosting a dinner inside one of the heated domes with its suitably alpine-themed menu.
Guests will dip into the warm cheese fondue with a selection of artisan charcuterie, new potatoes and bread, but will also share a selection of canapés and small plates like mulled wine cured gravlax salmon with poached baby pears.
Hot cocktails and a classic crème brûlée spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg look like they will round things off well. Minimum spend comes in at £600.
Considering how instagrammable this is, you’ll want to reserve quick to impress your clients.
