In an autumnal mood? We’ve got just the thing

The temperature in London has definitively taken a turn, with numbers as low as 7
o being reported this week. What does that mean? Autumn has officially begun, and the guys at
Plateau in Canary Wharf are embracing it with its food offering.
With a new head chef (former National Chef of the Year Frederick Foster) comes a new and exciting menu, and it captures everything that’s so great about this season. Think loin of venison with parsnip puree, braised leaves, quince and spiced sauce, and baked baby beetroots with goats’ cheese ravioli, soft quails’ eggs and pine nut dressing.
Plateau Restaurant, Bar & Grill has a prime fourth-floor location, which provides views across Dockland’s Canada Square. Its glass frontage and partially glazed ceiling flood the main dining room with light by day and show off London’s skyline at night.
You can also enjoy the views from the covered and heated terrace, which can accommodate alfresco events all year-round. If you prefer to be warm inside when it’s cold outside, there also is a private dining room with its own wine wall.
