If you're planning a special occasion and partial to Japanese cuisine, Hampstead High Street has just the thing. INÉ is an extraordinary Omakase restaurant from the team behindf TAKU, a now iconic, Michelin-Starred fine dining restaurant in Mayfair. Spearheaded by Chef Patron Takuya Watanabe, it's now led by Chef Law Kwok Meng, who has an impressive 23 years of training in the art of sushi making under his belt, bringing his meticulous nature and skill to the restaurant.
Across the restaurant there are three types of dining on offer: the most illustrious is, of course, the 17 course Omakase experience which changes daily depending on the freshest, best quality ingredients available. In the main dining room, guests are offered the chance to enjoy a contemporary a la carte menu, filled with modern Japanese dishes dreamed up by Head Chef Alex Lau. And, in the private dining space, up to 12 people can enjoy a special, bespoke menu, created for occasions.
As well as an intimate dinner with your favourite people, INÉ is now also offering experiences and workshops in its first floor space, Upstairs. Here, the team have curated a gallery space which also plays host to sake flights and masterclasses, which are a really cool way to entertain your guests, connect with colleagues, or add to a networking event or special occasion. You can browse art from up and coming, contemporary artists, while enjoying food and beverages in a laid-back environment.
Speak to the team about planning your own event, or you can take a look at their regularly updated events page which gives details of plenty of upcoming happenings, which you're also welcome to book on and join. Perhaps even planning both a private lunch, followed by a later event Upstairs, might make the perfect combination.
