Not only a Grade I-listed building with beautiful grounds, fountains and statues, Hever Castle also boasts the unique feature of being the childhood home of the infamous Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII. Here you'll find on-site attractions such as a Japanese tea house, boating, mazes, archery and a military museum, as well as elegant private dining options.
For bigger parties, the Tudor Suite is the ideal venue. This wing oozes rustic country house comfort and charm and can accommodate a hearty 60 guests, who will no doubt be wowed by the picturesque outside terrace area and the criminally comfortable sofas in the music room. More competitive guests can head on through to the Billiards Room to battle it out.
The impressive historic castle itself is also available for private hire. Kick your night off with an elegant drinks reception in the Inner Hall, hosting up to 60 guests, before moving into the Castle Dining Hall, which accommodates up to 40 diners, for the main event. If you fancy adding to your event, private guided tours of the castle can be arranged, as well as in-character entertainment from a Tudor Minstrel in traditional costume.
And it's not just private dining on offer here- Hever Castle has a range of exciting activities for all guests to join in the fun. Why not try your hand at archery, or give the Military Museum a visit? And if you want to keep the fun going all night long, dancing can be arranged in The Moat House, just a short stroll via The Drawbridge from the castle, and accommodation is available in either the Luxury Bed and Breakfast, or the charming Medley Court holiday cottage.
