Nestled on the banks of Teddington Lock, The Wharf is a bright and beautiful riverside restaurant serving modern European menus and a curated wine list. Boasting fantastic views of the Thames, and with a number of spaces available for private hire, this unique spot is perfect if you’re looking to throw a party in this leafy area. Be it a birthday, wedding reception or corporate party, The Wharf is equipped to host a wealth of occasions. Whatever you have in mind, the team are on hand to help you plan the perfect event, and will try their best to accommodate any request.
There are two spaces available for private hire at The Wharf: either the ground floor dining room or the conservatory-like first floor. The main dining room is best suited to larger parties, and would work well for company dinners or more major celebrations. This can hold 120 for dinner or 200 standing.
Upstairs is a light-filled space with a glass roof and lots of large windows, which flood the room with natural light. Both rooms can be configured according to your requirements, from a sit-down dinner to a standing reception. The first floor can hold 60 for dinner or 100 standing.
While the food menu is largely European, you’ll find a particular focus on fresh fish, as a nod to its riverside location. For standing events, there’s a canape menu featuring a selection of hot, cold and sweet options. While for sit-down dinners, the team can put together something bespoke for you, or you can choose from a reduced a la carte menu. While the dishes constantly change with the seasons, examples include seafood platters, Kinsale seafood chowder with Irish soda bread, Dover sole with beurre noissette and capers, and pan fried cod with white bean cassoulet and mussels. Grills and burgers are also available for meat fans.
Drinks comprise a carefully curated wine list featuring plenty of Old and New World wines. While an extensive liqueur, spirit, cocktail and Champagne menu ensure that every taste is catered for.
