About The Rubens at the Palace

The Rubens at the Palace is a sophisticated hotel right in the heart of Victoria, with a huge range of spaces available to hire for private events including birthdays, anniversaries, product launches, team away days, engagement parties and intimate celebrations. One of London's smartest hotels, The Rubens quintessentially English styling and luxury decor makes it ideal for events where you want to make a big impression.

The most striking space available to hire is The Leopard Room - the hotel's elegant, private bar. Boasting a well-stocked bar, creative food menus and sumptuous interiors, it’s a beautiful, high-end venue best suited to sophisticated, intimate occasions. The space can be booked for a maximum of 30 seated guests, or 36 standing, for both sit-down dinners and drinks receptions.  

The interiors are particularly unique and opulent, mixing cosy brown leather sofas with pine-panelled walls, antique glassware display cabinets and leopard-print upholstery and carpets. The Leopard Bar also boasts its own private entrance and bathroom facilities, adding an extra exclusive touch to your event.

The comprehensive drinks menu includes 200 fine whiskies and 30-odd Champagnes, as well as a cocktail menu that riffs on classic mixes. Look out for the likes of a Royal Spritz, a re-imagined version of an Aperol Spritz, and a Purple Sour, which marries sour lemon with sweet berries. While the wine list includes a number of vintage bottles and wines made at its own vineyard in South Africa, Bouchard Finlayson. 

Elsewhere within the hotel there are lots of other suites of varying sizes, many of which can be combined into larger event spaces for big events and receptions. The largest of those is the Van Dyck Suite, which hosts 150 guests for a standing reception, or up to 70 in a banquet layout.
