Modern European restaurant The Engine Rooms is well placed for events in the heart of north London. In this well-heeled pocket of the capital you’re close enough to the heart of the city to make it an easily accessible venue while you’re far enough away from the centre to make it still feel relaxed.
With an in-house management team, the planning for your event is well looked after. You’ll have access to all kinds of experts, from on the day coordinators to help with your schedule through to wine specialists to advise on drinks pairings. The exclusive list of preferred suppliers covers off anything not offered in-house too, with contacts for production, florists and photographers all available to you.
The rooms themselves range from a sweet meeting space – called the V8 Room – which holds between 10-50 people through to The Showroom which can accommodate up to 250 seated guests. Here, in this dramatic setting you’ll be surrounded by 70 classic cars which create an incredible old-world ambiance. Often used for weddings and award ceremonies, this space is completed by a sweeping glass ceiling. Elsewhere the V12 room has been designed for up to 160 people and is a true blank canvas space.
While the entire space is staunchly industrial in its design, the edges have been softened by the owners’ incredible art collection. Spread out throughout each of the various rooms the building exhibits one-of-a-kind motoring memorabilia. These include rare Jaguar engines and exhibits from the original Ferrari Museum.
Menus for all events are created with the very best produce for plates that showcase British ingredients with a Mediterranean twist.
