The Crown at Ampney Brook is a stylish, idyllic village pub in Ampney Crucis, within the famed Cotswolds. The building dates back to the 16th century and has been given a new lease of life with Wild Thyme & Honey, a boutique hotel and events retreat, which celebrates all things local and spotlights the food, makers and spirit of the Cotswolds.
If you're looking for somewhere special in the area to host an event - be it a birthday or anniversary, networking or brand launch, or even a photoshoot - the team at The Crown at Wild and Thyme & Honey are absolutely here to help. While you can speak to the team about booking a larger table or semi-private area in the main pub, there's also two private dining spaces to consider which give you complete exclusivity.
The Hide is located upstairs and has a capacity of 14 people, with all focus put on a central dining table crafted from rustic wood and lined with leather dining chairs. The room features a large stone hearth and authentic beams overhead, juxtaposed with black, crittall doors and windows. A chandelier of antlers gives off a country vibe, while candlelight and an abundance of lamps ensure the space is brimming with atmosphere.
The Eaves shares a similar aesthetic but for a smaller group, with a capacity of six people arranged around a rounded table. Guests can enjoy wooden pannelled walls, mis-match vintage furniture and original features, as well as a TV screen and wifi - present in both spaces - for meetings and presentations.
If a meeting really is the order of the day, you might also be interested in The Secret Garden Room. This space has capacity for 18 people, seated comfortably around a large table, with rustic jars and planters dotted around. Private, calming and kitted out with all the equipment you might need, it's an ideal place for a team away day.
