Located in the gorgeous Wiltshire countryside, The Old Bell Hotel is thought to be the oldest of its kind in all England. Nestled beside Malmesbury Abbey, this grade I listed building is exceptionally designed, has beautiful bedrooms and a great restaurant and bar. If you’re looking to host an event in Wiltshire, and really want to wow your guests, you should consider this historic, wonderful location.
The Old Bell Hotel’s history can be traced back to 1220 and has two event spaces that are great settings for your event, whether for business or pleasure. The flexible event spaces are suitable for a range of different events, and you can host up to 100 of your guests at The Old Bell Hotel. But, if things are a bit more intimate when it comes to your get-together, bookings can be made for as little as four people. The Garden Room is the hotel's largest event space and is light and airy in its design. For smaller events, The Library is intimate and cosy and is beautifully designed.
Should you want total privacy, you can opt for exclusive use of the venue and enjoy the gorgeously designed bedrooms, the wonderful Abbey Row restaurant and stylish Tyger Bar. If you're hosting an event that takes place over a few days, your guests will find comfort in their bedrooms with bathrobes, Dyson hair dryers and Bramley products. Whilst The Garden Room has wooden floors and a bright and airy feel to it, The Library has plum-toned walls and low, warm lighting. When it comes to catering at The Old Bell Hotel, you can opt to include a working or hot lunch, along with a delicious breakfast to start the day and a scrumptious afternoon tea.
