To celebrate the big wedding at Windsor Castle this month, the home of the
British Academy is offering event bookers a discount on day delegate packages.
With a price tag of £75pp (down from the usual £85pp), DDRs include a full day’s room hire; tea, coffee and pastries on arrival; mid-morning refreshments and lunch. The team will also throw in mini royal wedding cakes during afternoon downtime.
There are 11 rooms to choose from at the venue, which, fittingly, is within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. Our favourites are the Council Room, Reading Room and Library Room: period features such as gilded cornicing, ornate ceilings and wood panelling give these spaces their regal feel.
