Looking for a bargain for your group’s Christmas party booking? You’ve come to the right place
With only three December dates left to choose from for Christmas bookings, strike while the iron is hot for a party that will
transport you (see what we did there?) around the globe. With food stations featuring dishes from Asia, Italy, France and Mexico, parties at
The Postal Museum will give you a taste of the world this festive season.
Receptions start at £72pp and include prosecco on arrival, wine, beer and soft drinks, as well as a selection of festive finger food (based on a minimum of 250 guests for four hours). The dinner option starts at £154pp, where finger food is replaced by a three-course, sit-down meal (based on a minimum of 100 guests for four hours).
The best part though? Both packages extend to exclusive hire of Mail Rail, the museum’s main attraction. The 20-minute underground train ride takes you through the 100-year-old secret Royal Mail rail tunnels. Toot toot!
If you’re dreading this year’s task of organising the office do, we’re here to tell you there’s a reward waiting for you at the end if you book your party at the
Royal Garden Hotel.
The booker of the event will receive a complimentary overnight stay at the hotel on the night of the party, but that’s not all; you will also get to come back in either January, February or March (with a guest) for a relaxed stay and dinner in the Park Terrace – for free.
But be quick – there are only a limited number of dates left available for the Palace Suites, and you’ll even receive 20% off on your booking. The Palace Suites have their own private entrance, and the hotel’s statement location next to Kensington Palace and Hyde Park makes it a fine spot for Christmas parties.
Complimentary cocktail receptions at Lockhouse
Quick! If you book your Christmas party at
Lockhouse before the end of October (confirmed with a deposit), you will get a free cocktail reception.
You can choose from a two-course sit-down meal starting at just £24pp, or the all-indulgent Christmas buffet from just £16pp – nice!
Known for its cracking craft beer and cocktails, you won’t be short of tipples to go with your food. Floor-to-ceiling windows mean the hipster-feel bar is a light and airy affair, but it’s on the mezzanine that we suggest enjoying a Christmas dinner.
Dust off your festive best, because
The Lanesborough's luxurious private rooms are perfect for grandeur and getting into the spirit of Christmas.
The restaurant’s bespoke festive menu features Christmas staples such as roasted turkey leg stuffed with chestnut and cranberry, but also promote more Italian classics. We especially like the sound of poached lobster, truffle risotto or Cornish scallops to start, and the porcini gnocchi or the saddle of venison mains sound mouth-watering. For pudding, we would definitively opt for the Christmas chocolate bauble. The three-course menu starts at £86pp.
For an intimate Christmas party with a difference, the exposed-brick Wine Cellar and its large, hand-crafted dining table makes for a fine festive banquet. Please note that all private parties are subject to room hire charge.
Decidedly one of London’s coolest new venues,
Aures London can host between 70 and 300 guests. A heavy mix of urban graffiti culture with futuristic immersive technology, the venue is part of the exciting regeneration of the railway arches underneath Waterloo station.
For Christmas, it is offering unlimited drinks packages for afternoon and evening time slots, and a full set of canapé, bowl food and seated dinner options. But with its top-notch art audio system, intelligent lighting and DJ facilities, it’s the after party that will take centre stage here. Throw in some immersive performers and festive decor and your guests are in for a belter!
When outdoor igloos were introduced to London a couple of winters ago, the capital went positively mental for them. Well, now you can get your igloo fix at
Inamo Camden, where three exclusive pop-up igloo pods are furnished with sheepskin rugs and decorated with fairy lights. With indoor heaters and a speaker, the space’s design means you can combine party time with cosy time.
Located in the enclosed, private Winter Garden space of the restaurant, you can dine from the tasting menu, which includes a chef’s selection of
Inamo’s signature dishes. Feast on the likes of the sashimi platters, sushi, crispy scallop Kataifi and black pepper fillet of beef – yum.
The largest igloo has a capacity of 12, while the other two hold eight people each. All three can be hired in combination, too. There’s a minimum spend varying between £150 and £500 (depending on time and day of the week), but the igloos are yours for the entire evening. If you can't fill a whole igloo on your own, you can share the igloos from between £30pp and £50pp.
Wish upon a Michelin star at Roganic
The fact that
Roganic gained a Michelin star only 10 months after opening is enough reason to book yourselves in for a festive meal here. But beware – there’s limited group availability, so get booking soon if you want in.
Thinking of a lunch affair? The restaurant has two options for daytime events. Choose from the four-course menu (which includes wine and a sparkling reception) for £65pp, or the ‘long’ tasting menu (also with wine and bubbly on arrival) for £155pp. If you’re looking for an evening ritual, we would opt for the latter.
Refreshingly, Christmas won’t be a theme at
Roganic, but as all dishes are seasonal, the winter’s best produce will still make up the menu. Available for exclusive hire for up to 30 people, you can dine from Monday to Friday (note, there’s a minimum spend required).
Bag yourself a free prosecco reception at Rascals
With only six dates still available, now’s the time to get booking at
Rascals. And with the possibility of a complimentary prosecco reception when you book, what are you waiting for?
This year, the 200-capacity venue will be transformed into Winterland with glistening branches, white birch trees and atmospheric lighting, so a festive setting is guaranteed. There’s a range of bowl food (if you’re thinking a reception) or seated dinner menus available.
If you’re lunching, there are a number of packages starting only at £28pp for a minimum of eight people. It’s worth noting that the venue holds a 2am licence if you think your lot can last that long.
VIP it up at London’s favourite adult playground this Christmas and jump into
Ballie Ballerson’s giant ball pit in style. With VIP Ballers Christmas packages launched for November and December, you can take large groups (up to 80) to the club from £60pp.
Expect food platters, two hours of unlimited drinks, two hours access to the VIP area and, let’s not forget, two hours in the ball pits. With retro sweetie cocktails and a 70-metre glowing UV mural twisting around the walls, this Shoreditch den is an Instagram hot-spot, which will definitively please a younger audience.
