The Lalit Suri Group’s first hotel outside Asia is a classy affair. You might recognise this
London Bridge spot by its striking cobalt-blue walls in the main dining room, Baluchi, (the old assembly hall of the school that used to inhabit the building). This year, it will be putting on quite a show for Christmas.
The entire hotel will be decked out for festive parties, including Baluchi and its adjoining private dining rooms, The Headmasters Room, Laboratory 1 and Laboratory 2. These are available for Christmas parties with bespoke festive menus on offer, all curated by executive chef Santosh Shah.
Choose between a range of menus with a glass of bubbly or mulled wine on arrival, Christmas crackers and festive table arrangements. Prices range from £50pp to £80pp and the packages are available until the end of December. All menus come with the option of upgrades and supplements.
Feast on delights such as spiced lobster soup, the signature dal Baluchi, tandoori venison, spiced crab cake and paneer tikka.
The Laboratories are elegant with lots of natural light. In addition to being a formidable private dining spot, The Headmaster’s Room offers an education in single malts and champagnes beneath a mother-of-pearl ceiling.
If you’re just looking for some alternative entertainment for your group this festive period, maybe a jazz night or drag cabaret would go down well?
Lalit offers two great Saturday evening shows in the main dining hall on 8 and 15 December from 8pm. Dine from the a-la-carte menu, which features intriguing pan-Indian dishes, while enjoying a jazz performance from the Jazz Dynamos band, or a drag-queen cabaret. Entrance is free and you only pay for your meal.
