London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) St Luke’s on Old Street, a Grade I-listed venue renowned for its grand architecture, will be opening an outdoor space next summer – and it looks good.
The space will be able to host up to 425 guests with summer party packages being tailored as we speak – watch out for them over the coming months.
To give guests a little taster of what’s to come, a garden party was held with a barbeque, summer drinks and games.
The venue’s catering partner,
Party Ingredients, dished up barbeque salmon with a soy glaze, charred asparagus with a balsamic reduction, and (our favourite) butternut squash and goats cheese arancinis. The drinks ensured it was a proper British garden party; Pimm’s and freshly squeezed lemonade were flowing freely.
The games, orchestrated by experiential experts Chillisauce, included giant Jenga, mini golf and a forensic laboratory teambuilding activity, and added a lot of fun to the evening.
Christopher Cashman, sales and events manager at LSO St Luke’s said: ‘LSO St Luke's has always had a reputation for creating incredible event experiences and we’re delighted that we can now offer the same great service in an alfresco environment.’
