We have shocking news – it actually isn't too early to start planning your Christmas bash, and new venue Science Gallery London at King’s College London is the latest opening to muscle in on the competition.
Launching in autumn 2018, the venue will be located at the university’s Guy's Campus (just under The Shard) and will welcome groups for privately catered events of all manner.
Science Gallery London is offering two seasonal party packages. Both start at £120pp and include exclusive after-hours entry to the exhibition space, plus access to exhibition mediators who can chat with guests as they explore.
With science in mind, chef Matt Weston will be plating cold and warm food together for Christmas lunch, which he believes stimulates the senses while eating.
For standing Christmas receptions of 100-320 guests, skewers and sliders including classic pigs in blankets will be served with a cranberry chilli jam, while lentil and celeriac are served falafel style. Seated dinners for 60-120 guests, will see whole roasted duck served ‘family style’ at the table to encourage friendly interaction.
Christmas party traditions are maintained with fizz on arrival, decorations and free-flowing drinks throughout the evening.
