Cley Windmill is a beautiful, five storey tower mill that was built in the early 19th century. The first mention of the windmill was in the Norfolk Chronicle on the 26th June 1819, and the venue was passed through different families and owners over the decades, and centuries. We’re not sure you’ll find a venue that is more unusual, quaint and picture perfect than the Cley Windmill.
You can choose to have total hire of the entire windmill and enjoy the space for days or even weeks at a time. The space is completely unique and will offer you the most exquisite way to entertain your guests. There's accommodation on site for up to 22 guests, and the team will always provide you with a friendly, family approach. The venue will take your breath away, and is one of the most mesmerising spaces in the marshes of the north Norfolk coast. There's also the opportunity to book a self catering stay, for a minimum of three nights, where you will be able to use all 10 bedrooms, dining room, kitchen and living room.
Celebrations on a bigger scale can be held at Cley Windmill, which can take place in the dining room, or with a marquee in the garden. Each package includes a one or two night stay, and the experienced team will assist you through the whole planning process. You can enjoy a BBQ with your event, a grand afternoon tea, buffet or selection of exquisite canapes. The marquee is up in the garden from March through to September, and offers you that little bit more flexibility when it comes to planning your event, or wanting to host outdoors.
