Looking for a unique space to host your next event in Richmond? Well, we think Cinnamon Bazaar might be just what you're looking for. With a great location in the heart of Richmond, it's the second spot from this boutique restaurant group which opened its Covent Garden restaurant back in 2016 and has been much loved ever since.
If you're not already familiar, the concept at Cinnamon Bazaar is all about offering diners a modern take on Indian cuisine, heavily inspired by the street food and market places that sit along the old trading paths of the former empire. Nods to its historic sentiments can be found across the space, alongside quirky details like a newspaper ceiling, a bright colour scheme and walls decorated with gorgeous ornaments, plates and art works. Whatever the occasion, be it a birthday, work event or overdue get-together, Cinnamon Bazaar offers a beautiful backdrop to any soiree.
As for private dining spaces, the events team welcome events and venue hire bookings, with three options available. Up to 45 people can be hosted in the back half of the restaurant for a semi-private experience or, for a casual vibe of drinks and nibbles, 25 people are invited to stand at the bar and enjoy the buzz of the restaurant. In the summer, the outdoor terrace is a lovely space to host up to 35 people.
As for food, the chefs have devised three group dining menus which offer a mix of dining styles and cater to a range of budgets. For example, the 'chaat your heart out' menu offers both cold and hot chaats, while The Silk Route menu includes starters like stir-fried shrimp with cracked pepper and curry leaf lime crumble, alongside main courses such as Tandoori Kentish lamb cannon and desserts such as soft saffron whipped cream and almonds.
