The hall is a proud, Grade II listed building and underwent renovations in 2014 to add many mod-cons. It still flaunts gorgeous period features such as a lofty, vaulted ceiling and beams, which have been painted a beautiful, olive green. Set within Cholsey Meadows, the Great Hall is surrounded by 100 acres of idyllic landscaped gardens and even boasts direct access to the River Thames.
There are two spaces to consider when planning your event. If simply looking for a meeting room to host an office away day, perhaps a regular meet-up session or activities group or even an exercise class, the meeting room has great facilities. Here, there's capacity for 30 people seated, with a projector, screen and wifi. Simply chat to the team about setting up the space in a way that works for you.
Then, there's the main event - The Great Hall. As mentioned, this space benefits from an impressive, huge ceiling, original floor, and gorgeous colour scheme includes a rust, velvet curtain set in front of the stage. Here, you can host 200 people seated and there are facilities such as the main stage, stage lighting, sound system, large screen (perfect for film nights) and projector.
