Since throwing open its doors in October 2021, Bardo St James has become known as a haven of pleasure and luxury in central London, designing its menu, interiors and ambience around the Italian concept of Dolce Vita. Indeed, stepping down into this sultry enclave is like going back in time with plush red seating, Art Deco details and jazzy crooners performing on the dimly-lit stage. And so, it almost goes without saying that if you’re looking for a party venue with a glamorous feel, stand-out style and indulgent food, Bardo St James ticks these boxes and more, especially thanks to the team’s warm Italian hospitality that this culture is so known for. Open in the evenings only, why not book one of its glamorous spaces for a lavish dinner or late-night bash?
When hosting an event at Bardo St James, there are several venue options to choose from. The most fitting is likely the Kinnaird Room; an entirely private lounge which can host up to 100 people standing, and 30 people when seated. This space has a boudoir feel with low, cosy accent chairs and sofas, ambient lighting and a design-led mix of pattern, colour and texture. It has its own bar (always a must when organising a party) and even its own DJ booth, so you really can take over the space. Food options are to be organised with the events team but we can already imagine your guests enjoying small plates while socialising with a drink in hand.
If planning something more intimate, the Private Dining Room can seat 16 people around a grand central dining table and is ideal for a special dinner. Place names and bespoke menus can be printed for your guests, and again, food options can be worked out with the team. Alternatively, you could take advantage of the main restaurant’s buzz and live music performances and discuss taking over the bar which has a standing capacity of 50, or part of the restaurant for 120 seated or 300 standing.
