Planning a Christmas party in North Cornwall? Whether it's for friends, family or colleagues, we know you'll want to impress and celebrate the end of the year with something special. Luckily, The Upper Deck is here to help.
The Upper Deck is a relaxed, two floor restaurant with a passion for local, seasonal food, and a stunning location on the sea-edge in Rock. Built overlooking the beach, December's cold climes won't matter thanks to the structure's glass facade which offers beautiful views across the water come rain or shine. Even at night, the waves are illuminated by the glow of the moonlight, making this a magical spot for the festive period.
Inside, the restaurant is split over two floors and has plenty of space for large parties with an open plan layout, large tables and social spaces, with cosy seating and banquettes. The maximum capacity is 100 people, so whether you're planning a Christmas shindig for your team or the whole company, there should be enough space to accommodate you. And, for any questions you might have, advice on decorating the space or if needing help in planning your event, the team are more than happy to chat through your options either on the phone or in person.
When it comes to food, The Upper Deck is known for its breadth of fresh seafood and relationships with local suppliers. While there isn't usually a group dining menu all-year round, Christmastime may be different, so chat to the team about what kind of menus you were hoping to serve. For a flavour of what they do best, though, check out the website's three courses, featuring the likes of Porthilly mussels, devilled whitebait and pan roasted hake.
Of course, it wouldn't be a Christmas party without some drinks, so get stuck into the Cornish beers on tap, as well as a selection of locally-made spirits. Cheers!
