Planning this year's Christmas party? Whether it's for friends, family or work colleagues, why not take them out of the cold for one evening, on a mini break to Latin America? Paladar is a vibrant Latin American restaurant boasting great vibes, a tasty menu and plenty of private dining options. It's also got a great location, positioned in the heart of South London, not far from the Tate Modern and the Thames, with transport links like Elephant and Castle, plus Southwark and Borough, all close by.
There are four spaces available to make your own, no matter your party size. The main restaurant is perfect for a large table, and the team are happy to accomodate you wherever you'd like to sit in the space. The soft seating area at the front can be a cosy spot for around eight people, while the stylish bar is perfect for drinks and nibbles. If, however, you'd like to take over the entire room, the team can assist you in planning your dream festive shindig with a capacity of up to 40 people.
If organising for a much smaller number and you really want to impress your colleagues or boss, the Chef's Table in the Bodega is perfect. This semi-private table is positioned just in front of the open kitchen so you can watch in wonder at the theatre of what goes on behind the scenes. While it isn't mandatory, the team suggest that chef's table bookings enjoy the tasting menu and wine pairing, so that they might soak up the experience to its fullest. There is also a £600 minimum spend for you and the other eight to ten guests, or less if you so choose.
Another great spot is the Amazon Lounge, a private dining space for up to 20 guests. You'll love its beautiful 3-D mixed-media by Colombian artist Rafael Rosas, which will really help your team to forget about the snow and frost at this time of year!
