We might be biased, but we think the best Christmas parties are those with an activity at heart. And, what really is more festive, than singing? Channel your inner carol singer and, if you're landed with organising this year's work Christmas party, head down to Lucky Voice in Brighton for banging tunes, festive nibbles and expertly mixed cocktails.
In the Brighton branch, the pods cater for between four and 20 people so there's plenty of flexibility when it comes to group size. Once in your pod, check out the futuristic touch screen karaoke interface, where you can flick through 11,000 songs and find the perfect one for you and your gang. From 90s ballads to diva belters, there's everything and more, including lots of festive classics, too. Inside the pod you'll also find a cool 'Thirsty' button, which allows you to order wines, cocktails, beers and softs straight from the bar into your space, so you don't ever have to put down the mic.
If you fancy a bit of socialising time in between the big show, though, why not hire out the Lucky Voice bar. This space is often available for exclusive use, so chat to the team about your options and you could host your colleagues for food and drinks beforehand. Speaking of which, this year's Christmas menu sounds absolutely delicious. Be sure to organise ordering your dishes for your whole team in advance. You can choose between finger food options, like pigs in blankets with cranberry ketchup, alongside pork, turkey and cranberry sausage roll with English mustard and even mini beef sliders with sprout slaw.
For dessert there's crispy Christmas pudding and brandy sauce, as well as blood orange sorbet and mince pies. Or, dig into the pizza menu which features not only all of your classics, but seasonal toppings like spiced pumpkin, fig and spinach.
