Fancy celebrating Christmas in a castle-type setting? If the British weather decides to bless us with snow, it could be something out of a fairy tale! However, even if it’s not a white Christmas, the turrets, spires and towers of the Royal Victoria Patriotic Building make Le Gothique a spectacular place to host your festivities.
Originally an orphanage, this historic venue is full of character and can host your party in its award-winning bar, mezzanine restaurant or the hidden walled garden. The garden boasts a unique retractable canopy system so the space can be covered as well as lit and heated. Stocked with an impressive selection of cask ales and fine wines, the Gothic bar is a lovely setting to enjoy a drink and catch up with family, friends or colleagues. For a more formal three-course Christmas dinner, there is the mezzanine level restaurant that can seat up to 100 guests. Packages start from £29.95 per person and starters include king prawns with Pernod, garlic and shallots or melted goat’s cheese on crosti. For main you can expect a classic roast turkey with all the trimmings or something lighter such as the pan-fried seabass or stuffed gnocchi. Buffet dining and canape receptions are also available if you would prefer something less formal.
Unlike many venues across London, Le Gothique can also offer free, secure, off-street parking. There is space for a dancefloor, and you have free access to the state-of-the-art sound system, AV projector and drop-down screen too.
However big or small your celebration, the team at Le Gothique take a tailored approach to event management and will help to ensure your party runs as it should. Whether you're after bespoke decorations, a personalised drinks menu or a tweak to the food on offer, the friendly team are sure to be able to help.
