Looking to add a twist to this year’s Christmas party? Jugad offers authentic Indian dining, but with modern touches and British flavourings that culminate into something rather unique for your festivities. Named for the Hindi word for an ‘innovative hack’ for repairing, Jugad embodies sustainability and natural eating, offering a new way of eating out - whilst still providing a whole host of delicious dishes.
When it comes to hosting your Christmas party, there are two main options at Jugad. Firstly, why not check out the Balcony? This private space brings a neutral backdrop - just waiting to be decked out with your festive decorations - complete with industrial decor, exposed brick walls and pops of colour throughout the space to add a sense of vibrancy. Here, you can seat 30 guests seated, or have the option to host 50 guests standing, allowing for an array of different Christmas parties, from sit down feasts to drinks receptions - whatever you fancy.
When it comes to the menus, Jugad is all about the a la carte, with a selection of carefully crafted dishes from executive chef Jose Fernandes. Menus here come with halal, gluten free and vegan options, meaning that everyone of your group will be catered for. Tuck into the likes of tandoor prawns with smoked tomatoes and garlic drizzle, or Delhi-style butter chicken with tomato and coriander. Other options include parsnip tikki chaat with mint chutney and pomegranate or tandoori broccoli smothered with a mustard marinade and cherry tomatoes. No Indian feast is complete without a few sides, so why not order a couple of naans along with chana masala and jeera rice to accompany your feast.
On the drinks front, you can expect an array of unique cocktails - each with their own Jugad twist - such as the Pomegranate Sour or the Coconut Negroni. With an alcohol licence available until midnight, you can truly celebrate in style this Christmas.
