There's Christmas parties, and then there's private dinners at premium Japanese restaurants, nestled in the heart of chichi Hampstead, with an omakase tasting menu of 17 courses. So, if you really want to blow your colleagues or clients socks off this year, continue reading.
INÉ is regarded as one of the best Japanese and sushi-specific restaurants in London, coming to you from the mind of Chef Patron Takuya Watanabe and the team that successfully opened Michelin-Starred TAKU, an acclaimed Japanese dining experience in Mayfair. The menu is curated and led by Chef Law Kwok Meng who has an incredible 23 years of training as a sushi chef under his belt, and has brought together flavours and techniques that are both contemporary and forward-thinking, while still paying homage to edomae traditions.
When planning your visit, there are three types of dining available, starting with the Counter Omakase which essentially means, I'll leave it up to the chef, with 17 meticulously prepared courses curated by Chef Patron Takuya Watanabe depending on what has come in fresh on the day. A truly special experience.
The main dining room offers a modern a la carte menu designed by Head Chef Alex Lau, while the private dining space has seating for up to 12 people, with a minimum of seven people required, and you can speak to the team about the type of dining you and your guests would most enjoy.
If you're open to doing something a little different, though, you might be interested to know that INÉ recently opened another floor, adding to the restaurant's offering with a contemporary, fluid art gallery called Upstairs. Here, diners and guests of the restaurant are welcome to not only browse the works, enjoy the lounge and try some food and drinks, but also join workshops or host events. Some of the workshops on offer include masterclasses from local breweries and sake flights, which could be the perfect way to introduce some team building, networking and complement your meal.
