While the Hush Heath Estate has been in the family for three generations, it was current presiders, husband and wife team Richard and Leslie Balfour-Lynn, who took a chance in 2002 and began their own vineyards. The results were an instant hit and that very first vintage went on to win international awards and even become the first English sparkling served on British Airways.
As well as a now iconic sparkling rose, the estate produces classic sparkling and a selection of still wines, too. And, as their wine offering has grown, so have the facilities with the vineyard now offering a stunning new restaurant, meeting space, tasting room and social areas, too.
If you'd like to take your team out for the day, there's three main packages to choose from - although pretty much anything can be arranged - from a luxurious dinner with live entertainment and eye-catching floral displays, to taking over the entire space for a mix of activities and guided tours.
The first package offers free transfers from the closest train station, followed by a productive morning meeting for your team with pastries, hot drinks, apple juice and presentation equipment. Next, you can choose either a light, seasonal lunch of artisan breads, local meats and cheeses and vegetarian options, or a two or three course meal, prepared by the Head Chef with a wine pairing accompaniment.
Next, you can add a quick stop around the vineyards or an extended guided tour of whole estate, plus a wine tasting with either three or six wines, depending on what you'd prefer. As mentioned, everything can be created bespoke, so simply chat to the team about what works best for you.
