Located in the heart of Chislehurst in Kent, Bank House is a restaurant and bar that specialises in British cuisine, perfect for those looking to host a relaxed yet refined Christmas party. The restaurant boasts plush seating, with red velvet bar stools and ornate light fixtures that bathe the room in warm and gentle lighting. It’s the perfect blank canvas space, embodying a rather neutral colour palette, with nods to its Victorian roots for something with a little more rustic charm.
When it comes to hosting your Christmas party at Bank House, there are a couple of options. Hire out the entire first floor for a space that can accommodate up to 45 seated or 55 standing. Exclusive use of the first floor comes with access to an outdoor terrace as well as a private bar, so you don’t have to worry about fighting through crowds to get your drinks. Alternatively, on Mondays and Tuesdays you can even hire out the entire venue for a larger Christmas party during the week.
When it comes to the food, festive menus have been carefully curated for the Christmas season, with two- or three-course set menus running throughout December. Menus are to be pre-ordered and enjoyed by the whole group, with two courses available for just £34.50, and three courses for £42.50 per person.
Start with the likes of pumpkin and parmesan soup with rosemary croutons or seared beef carpaccio with artichoke, followed by a traditional roast turkey dinner, with all the trimmings, or your choice of pan fried haddock with grilled leeks and mussels, or a pithivier of lentils with chestnut mushrooms. End your evening with an indulgent selection of desserts, with steamed Christmas pud and brandy sauce or chocolate fondant tart with vanilla ice cream.
Why not end the evening with coffee and mince pies for the full festive experience?
