The Valley Hotel is a Georgian country house hotel in the Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire - a World Heritage Site famed for its beauty. The Valley Hotel is licensed for ceremonies and couples can choose to say their vows inside or outside. The hotel has three indoor spaces available to host ceremonies, but summer weddings also have the option of an al fresco ceremony on the rustic terrace, with the expansive greenery of the Ironbridge Gorge surrounding them. Inside, the Severn Suite is the largest of the rooms, hosting up to 120 guests for a chic, stylish ceremony with white Chiavari chairs and glamorous chandeliers. For something a little more intimate, check out the Jackfield Room, which hosts 30 of your closest family and friends for a special ceremony or reception.
The venue offers a range of special packages that cover everything from food and drink to room hire and reception plans, but you’re also free to choose a bespoke package and plan everything from scratch yourself. - The Valley Hotel’s experienced events team are on hand to help you organise every large and small detail leading up to the big day. When it comes to the catering, you can plan anything from a traditional wedding banquet to street food, canapes and more.
The occasion doesn’t have to end after the reception either - with 44 beautiful bedrooms in the main house, guests are free to stay for multiple days, and you can even plan a special breakfast the next day in the restaurant.
