Stoke Rochford Hall is a hotel and wedding venue just outside Grantham in Lincolnshire. The present house was built in the early Victorian period by Chirstopher Turnor a wealthy landowner and MP, whose family had lived on the site since the mid 1600s. Its Jacobean style was popular at the time, with the Turnor family owning the grand manor and its surrounding gardens up until the end of the Second World War.
The present day Stoke Rochford is the perfect blend of heritage and modernity. The perfectly manicured landscaped gardens provide the ideal backdrop for those first married photos, while the range of reception and ceremony rooms retain all the charm and grandeur of the house’s Victorian heyday. The Orangery, with its glass roof and floor to ceiling windows on nearly every wall, is ideal for a summer wedding, light streaming in as up to 120 guests take their seats to watch the ceremony unfold. For a more intimate wedding, choose the Rochford Room, which overlooks the house’s gardens and surrounding countryside.
Ceremony complete, guests can then move onto their choice of several reception rooms. The Orangery can be repurposed and there's also The Pavillion, a sweeping grand marquee situated in the rolling green gardens that holds up to 350 guests. The Newton Suite, with its vaulted ornate ceilings, is ideal for smaller weddings. Whatever your size or style of wedding, a member of the hotel’s dedicated time will be on hand at every step of the journey to turn your vision into reality, advising on everything from room choice to suggesting local suppliers.
Helping to simplify the process are three wedding packages: Classic, Luxury and Complete. These vary depending on the volume and type of food served, but all include room hire, table runners, a three course wedding breakfast and a glass of champagne or prosecco on arrival.
