Stockwith Mill is a stunning wedding venue in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds that was once a 17th-century water-driven corn mill. Now, couples are able to tie the knot at this beautiful waterside location, with two main spaces to choose from: Millers Field and The Stables.
Millers Field is a secluded five-acre field adjacent to the River Lynn and with views across the country hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds. If you’ve always dreamed of celebrating your special day outdoors – preferably with the sun shining down on you – then Millers Field is your ticket. Why not start with a drink and canapes reception next to the river, before moving over to the main field to continue the celebrations? Available for up to 100 people, it’s a good option for larger parties and allows couples the option to host an overnight wedding (think glamping, festival or TeePee-inspired) thanks to bell tents available to hire.
The Stables, meanwhile, is a smaller indoor space for up to 50 people, offering original exposed wooden beams and gorgeous country views. If you’re wary that the British weather won’t cooperate on the day, then The Stables offers the security of a roof over your head, but with the option to host part of the celebrations outside if liked. Although The Stables is a smaller space, extra guests can be invited for the evening celebrations. Do note that catering, flowers, decorations and enterainment will need to be hired seperately.
Whichever option you choose, packages and hire options are very flexible and can be adapted to suit your preferences. The events team are on hand every step of the way to help with the details of your dream wedding, with a trusted supplier list for when it comes to choosing the food and drink, music, decorations and more.
