Preston Court was bought in 1980 and was a space with apple orchards that was pretty dilapidated. Since that time, the family have lovingly restored the venue with sustainability in mind. This family run and owned farm will make for an incredible backdrop on your special day. Weddings first started taking place here when the local farmer Ray hosted his reception in the barnyard in exchange for doing the harvest back in 2008. Then, things just evolved. The team wants to make sure that the venue remains somewhere where couples can enjoy saying I do, whilst feeling at home. The close group who remain at the heart of weddings at Preston Court thrive on running weddings, and want to make sure that your day is as special as you want it to be.
Here, you can marry outside in the lush gardens that are surrounded by nature, water and grand trees, with the backdrop of Preston Court. There's also the majestic barn that is filled with twinkly lights and vintage charm, which feels comforting and warm. The showman's wagon is something rather special. This beauty was designed and custom built for Oscar Deutsch in the early 20th century, who was the man behind the Odeon Cinema Group. Inside this wagon, you'll find the decor to be inspired by the showman of time, with panelled mahogany walls, elaborate cabinetry and ceilings that are adorned in cut glass mirror and with walls that have hand painted murals.
Dogs are welcome at this venue, so you can say I do with your best friend by your side. And, you will enjoy a taste of local deliciousness with a range of local drinks, brews and spirits that have been handpicked from local suppliers and vineyards. Your menu will be designed with your tastes in mind, too, and once you speak to your event planner they will get a feel for how you want your wedding breakfast to look.
