When a venue has the nickname of being ‘the jewel of Essex’ you know it must be pretty special, and Little Easton Manor is just that.
It’s not hard to see why this pretty spot has become one of the area’s most popular places to get hitched. The special thing about getting married at Little Easton Manor is that couples are offered the Rafters Barn ceremony room, The Barn Theatre reception space and an open air pagoda all on an exclusive use basis, so that your celebration will be completely about you. The pagoda sits on the edge the Great Lake, which plays home to a number of wildlife species and is surrounded by the estate’s manicured grounds which include beautiful topiary and sweeping lawns.
While there is a managed bar on site to help you kick off the party, everything else is up to you. The venue suggests recommended caterers and other suppliers, but the final selection is your choice – allowing for personal preference. Bar packages can be booked on a bespoke basis, or there are a number of deals to choose between if you prefer to stick to the existing menu. Options start from just £8 per guest for soft drinks and go up to £35 per person for reception drinks, wine with dinner and Champagne for toasts, as well as bottled water for all guests.
Fancy doing something a little bit different? Why not plump for a twilight wedding, which will see you and your other half formally united at dusk before enjoying drinks and nibbles with guests as the stars begin to shine
For those who like to make a weekend of a party you can easily put up a few friends and family on site to extend the celebrations across a day or two. Two recently restored cottages provide modern, snug bases for up to 16 guests across eight bedrooms.
