Leeds Castle

Well, what an absolutely wonderful wedding day you gave John and me! We had a fantastic time! All went according to plan and it was perfect from beginning to end. We were treated like royalty, in fact. Everyone was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Please make sure all the team there know how grateful we are. Thank you very much for your help and support during the last thirteen months. As I said earlier, our thanks go to the whole team as I know there would have been a substantial number of people involved in our big day.

The entire team at Leeds Castle were all absolutely amazing, they went far and beyond our expectations and beyond their own duty on the day and we would like to thank them all again. I keep hearing different things of how the staff made our guests day perfect, from assisting them down into the garden, to taking a chair outside for them to sit and watch the fireworks. I have had nothing but positive comments, so thank you for that too, one comment was ‘I knew it would be lovely but that blew me away!' All of our guests had a fantastic day, the food was exceptional and the Chef went above and beyond to adapt the food for all of our guests so they could enjoy the same food. Again we would like to say a big thank Zoe who dealt with the booking from start to finish, and also Debbie who worked tirelessly through the pandemic to assist us when it was cancelled, again even in these uncertain times nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so, so much for our wedding day and making it one that no one will ever forget and be talked about for a long time.

Our first wedding date was three weeks after the first lockdown in 2020 - we knew the pandemic was coming and would affect our wedding. Leeds Castle was very supportive during this time and we managed to secure another date in July 2021. We always tried to remain positive and knew that changes could affect us so we adopted a flexible attitude to adjust accordingly and with the Leeds Castle staff everything came together perfectly. We would like to thank the amazing staff as without them our wedding would not have happened.

It's easy to say ‘perfect’, but it certainly was for us. Right from the outset, even during COVID uncertainty, the planning team were so good and really held your hands through the process, making suggestions when prompted and offering advice on what would work best – this took a lot of stress away from the situation. “For the day itself, the setting is beautiful, of course, the staff were incredible - I cannot reiterate this enough and it really is an important factor, especially on the day. The accommodation was wonderful, the food was great - even a friend of ours who is an award-winning professional chef was saying how good it was. We couldn't fault a single thing and I thought it was well-priced, given the exclusivity of the venue.
