Kingston Maurward is a stunning, award winning venue that is set amongst 750 incredible acres of Dorset countryside. The 18th century house and gardens are totally serene, and make a gorgeous backdrop for your big day.
There are a range of different spaces to choose from, including the Grand Entrance Hall which has high ceilings, a central chandelier and twin marble fireplaces, it really takes your breath away. For your drinks reception, there is capacity for up to 150 people, with 90 for a ceremony and 100 able to be accommodated in the evening. The Pengelly Room is a former music room, and is richly decorated with 19th century hand painted Italian wallpaper. The windows have stunning views across the lawns and lake, and this is great if you plan on having a slightly smaller wedding. Capacity wise, this room can host 100 people for a ceremony, the same for a drinks reception and up to 60 people for your wedding breakfast. With solid oak panelling, the Old Library has a fireplace and filled bookshelves, and is just right for smaller wedding parties, whilst the Whatmoor Room is about a similar size and as it leads from the Pengelly Room, shares equally captivating views of the lake and pond area.
